Well Sunday the 7th was an absolutele Pearler although couldn't figure why nobody had turned up mid morning until someone said it was Fathers day Nuff said everyone was doing there bit.

Mind from 1100 hours onwards people and planes everywhere even managed to use all me photo's on the Digi Camera 400 odd.

Kenny was first up yes the Red Devil in No1 hangar was up aviating at least an hour and half, The Glider guys turned up although in the end RWS went U/S becoming a big heavy Glider as the Starter would engage but wasn't that keen to let go and the Battery was a bit no plussed as well. SSF came to the rescue.

Steve was out taking Tony's Vampire for a tootle up round the Mountain which meant letting the Bantam and the Challenger have a bask in the Sun mfor a while.

LTC Kevin & Dingle were out and about in the AM.

Brett E called in with the Yak for a while and then tootled off somewhere forget where and returned with Faye flying whilst Brett was taking in the sites from the Rear seat. This Yak is Immaculate good to meet this father & daughter team. I mean how good to fly Dads Yak what a hoot. They chopped in some Aero's then zipped back to New Plymouth late in the PM. Darrel also was in attendance with the Pitts I know these are small but am amazed everytime I see them they are Tiny as with the Yak good to watch dancing round the sky. Although had airspeed issue which they were sorting.

Allan was out also giving the Alpi a blow out.
Also you will see some great shots Aircraft & Mountains with the Central North Island Moutains and also our lil Mountain as well. It was just so clear of a day.

It seemed to be planes everywhere today the Gliders getting some good thermaling I ran the Jodel up and then it was Ale time., then home what a perfect bloody day role on summer.
