The aircraft flying down were ZK-SNW, ZK-ONE, ZK-ETC, and also ZK-SND from Feilding.
One thing they had was trully AWESOME WX (TIN BUMS). Very rare indeed to see the Southern Alps with so little Snow. Even Mt Cook was a bit bare lower down.
Having flown down to the WOW in 1996 and flown round Mt Cook etc. It is something you must do at least once. You will realise how totally insignificant you are when flying over those Puppies.
