Follow instructions on Terminal.

When getting Fuel multiply your quantity by $2.40 for amount required or you will end up doing the card thing again. Example 60 Litres = $145.00

Please sign book in box.

Also if wanting a receipt do this pretty much after hose returned to holder.

When Fueling be careful of Splash back. It's brand new and pumps pretty quick.

I have seen people not winding the hose up when finished. If you do this consistantly I will be speaking to you as I can see you 24/7 (recorded) you will be paying for any damage incured. This facility is owned by the Stratford Aero Club Sport Flyers and not by any Fuel Company.

Treat it with respect it deserves or lose it.

Remember no Landing Fee's and uncontrolled Airspace.

Thanks for choosing SD (Stratford) as your Fueling stop

Now I was at the Aerodrome today having a coffee as one does when Tim H wandered in and asked if I wanted to go for Glider Flight. Well if it's got wings and flies I'm in.

After getting the Twin Astir out and tow from Les we were out to get some lift. Did alright for a while although Tim had a fight on his hands and fought it the whole time as it was a bit Flukey as we were finding lift in some pretty strange places along with a good dose of Sink as well at times.

We did manage a 53 minute flight so wasn't the 10000 foot we were hoping for. Mind you just realised I had never done it the whole time was at the Aerodrome before.

The Tow plane waiting for instructions to line up.

We are OFF

Zooming past the Club house hangar 1 & 2

Trucking on upto 4500 foot.

Les peeling off after dropping the Tow

The Search for thermals begin.

We found one ......!!!!!!

Tim looking

Looking South east toward Threshold RWY-34 with Power Station behind. Remember Danger Area to 1200 foot. DO NOT FLY OVER IT unless higher than1200 foot
Just turning finals RWY-27

Thanks for the flight Tim.
