Saturday the 29th was windy, wet & sunny all at the same time although late afternoon Sun and no wind.

A couple Photo's from today.

Well we found Bruce Knowles he has been in the kitchen all this time go figure....he is over from S.A. outa Aussie were he has a small farm milking 1200 cows.
Interesting he had an engine failure (while out for a flight whilst touring) at 1500ft  up Cape Carpenteria Nth QLD  over Croc country and luck would have it there happened to be a spare 400ft bit of ground right in the middle of the Croc infested waters. Now that is amazing in itself the other boomer moment was he landed with no damage to the Aircraft. He did say he was expecting it to be damaged in some way.

Bruce - 1 & Croc's - 0

Couple pic's of the Stratford AP Show on 29 to 30th

Bruce and I headed out for a fly this is on return on finals RWY-16.

Lets just say we were suitably Shaken not stirred enjoyable but real lumpy

Gary & ONE turned up about 20 mins after we got back as we had flown up to see what was happening at Fern Glen Field

Wind a bit testy as can be seen by Slip angle

Gliders were out getting there annuals

Gary heading out for home.
