Saturday, October 31, 2015

Well Saturday the 31st started out slow but picked up later on with a few Bods about.

The replacement of the windsocks went ahead today with Gary & I doing the Biz as you can see RWY-09 and the Hangar Windsocks are all accounted for. Gary also extended the pole upwards on the Hangar as it slipped a tad so is now back where it belongs.

Ya have to respect nature that is pretty strong pipe they are mounted on and the Hangar one is bent back slightly at the top. Well it is higher than the other two.

These are the new Barsil (Te Kowhai ones) so be interesting to see how they stand up.

So no reason to say ya can't see them.

I will get up and paint the pole when the winds drop

Shaun & SNW were out early (thought I heard it earlier)
