FUEL INSTALLATION INFO

YES WE HAVE

!!! AVGAS - AVGAS - AVGAS -AVGAS - AVGAS !!!

Follow instructions on Terminal.

When getting Fuel multiply your quantity by $2.40 for amount required or you will end up doing the card thing again. Example 60 Litres = $145.00

Please sign book in box.

Also if wanting a receipt do this pretty much after hose returned to holder.

When Fueling be careful of Splash back. It's brand new and pumps pretty quick.

PUT THINGS BACK AS YOU FIND THEM.

I have seen people not winding the hose up when finished. If you do this consistantly I will be speaking to you as I can see you 24/7 (recorded) you will be paying for any damage incured. This facility is owned by the Stratford Aero Club Sport Flyers and not by any Fuel Company.

Treat it with respect it deserves or lose it.

!!! DAYLIGHT HOURS ONLY !!!

Remember no Landing Fee's and uncontrolled Airspace.

Thanks for choosing SD (Stratford) as your Fueling stop

Sealing round the pumps has been completed and is ready to use. Until grass grows take care when going from Grass to Seal use the 45 degree approach method.

Tuesday 23rd was another awesome day nice and warm. Big change from yesterday bloody cold.

JPX , SSF , and TVG getting some sun before...... Thanks to Gary M for his support in the SACSF being able to have access to such and awesome peice of kit.

Thanks also to John R allowing us to do the same with JPX.

As we are a Communtiy Aerodrome we like to engage with the Community when ever we can
and today we had the pleasure of Hosting

Room 6 from Turu Turu School from Hawera. Who turned up for a look about.

Wrangled by there Teacher Sharyn and a fair bunch of Mom & Dad's.

Here the Kiddly bit's snuggling up to the Mustang and why not.

But before all that fun we had Morning Tea first in the Club House.

Where I did ye Safety Briefing and gave a bit of history re the Aerodrome.

Then we weere off first Hangar 1 here looking over the Bantam. Moving onto the Sting etc and the diff between the two.

Some good questions as well no flies on this lot.

Then we did Hangar 2 and here moving off to the Mustang and Club plane. A quick WHOA to this lot to slow them down.

They then got try another Plane being SSF (they already had a sit in the Vampire)

We here at Stratford like to get people hands on when we can. It's great to look but even better to get to try something and touch it.

Not many places you can do that now.

Couple Photo's with the Clubs planes.

Of course the Mustang was pretty popular.

Then it was time for Teacher to get a feel of the Mustang.

I think Sharyn liked it.

Wayne heading out to do a Fly about.

There he goe's

Kiddly's checking him out.

Back in

Kids and parents watching Wayne and SNW taxi in.

Kids giving Wayne a round of applause I think he is taken a back.

We then had the Parents try The Mustang out for size. Yes the re-actions were the same as this.

Everyone checking out who was sitting in the Mustang.

Sharyn (Teacher) & Wayne talking Aviation I suspect.

Then we had the Kids get up close and persoanl with TVG.

Then Wayne fired up the Mustang for them to Listen to.

Checking it all out.

A bonus was the arrival of Mark & Cresco LTH.

Everyone had a good look over and around LTH.

Thanks Mark for taking the time and Ravendown for showing the Kids about.

Then back into the Club house for afternoon Tea.

It was young Daveys Birthday so a rousing Happy Birthday song was had and CAKE.

I presented Davey with his own set of wings which he was quite stoked about.

A big thank you for the Aero Club myself and Ian T helping out.

A boomer day was had by all welcome back anytime.

Any other Schools out there wanting to do the same give me a ring.

Brian was in for a bit and yes the Office EFTPOS going great guns.
