When getting Fuel multiply your quantity by $2.60 for amount required or you will end up doing the card thing again. Example 60 Litres = $156.00

Also if wanting a receipt do this pretty much after hose returned to holder.

When Fueling be careful of Splash back. It's brand new and pumps pretty quick.


I have seen people not winding the hose up when finished. If you do this consistantly I will be speaking to you as I can see you 24/7 (recorded) you will be paying for any damage incured. This facility is owned by the Stratford Aero Club Sport Flyers and not by any Fuel Company.

Treat it with respect it deserves or lose it.


Remember no Landing Fee's and uncontrolled Airspace.

Sunday 25th saw grey overcast with Drizzle/Rain.

Luckily it stopped raining for around 45 minutes to do the Weekly Fuel Test.

One can just make out some Pylons in the background.

Not a lot of wind either.

SSF still in bed on a day like this. She had a fly on Friday that will keep her regular.

Now Peter's a good keen man here sorting out the wiring for the Egmont Modellers new !!! Early Warning System !!!.

What this means is Peter is installing a Radio with a Bull Horn Loud speaker out on the Pole Eastern side of Glider Hangar.

As we are for all things that can improve SAFETY and AWARENESS  around the Aerodrome we will impliment it. One thing that has become apparent is that the Modellers are having Trouble seeing whats going on down the end of RWY-09 especially on a busy day with Gliding going on as it takes time for them to set up the tow and is easy to forget to look again.

Also the modern day Recreational Aircraft are pretty quiet and can be difficult to hear arriving overhead.

The EM team decided to instigate this excellent SAFETY idea.

So to that end when the EM team are flying they will be able to hear all transmissions and make the call as what to do based on tht information.
