When Fueling be careful of Splash back. It's brand new and pumps pretty quick.


I have seen people not winding the hose up when finished. If you do this consistantly I will be speaking to you as I can see you 24/7 (recorded) you will be paying for any damage incured. This facility is owned by the Stratford Aero Club Sport Flyers and not by any Fuel Company.

Treat it with respect it deserves or lose it.


Remember no Landing Fee's and uncontrolled Airspace.

5th Jan was warm with a gentle Breeze.

Random Charf Cutter passing through on his way to Taumaranui.

Then lil Robbie 22 HIE was in for some training.

Then some Gas was rec'd and as far as I know our first Chopper Fuel up.

Being safe still has his Helmut on..mind you was sunny out.

Then very quietly SAL with Rob & Gwen appeared here .... it's stealthy

I suspect Gwen is happy not having to deal with Kapiti Traffic.

The STA with Alan (We saw him coming) arrived back from Whitianga.

Now this is how ya move your racing gear round.

Mean while our second chopper of the day with Jim in command from Heliworx was in for gas for R44 doing the Bee Hive thing.
