I have seen people not winding the hose up when finished. If you do this consistantly I will be speaking to you as I can see you 24/7 (recorded) you will be paying for any damage incured. This facility is owned by the Stratford Aero Club Sport Flyers and not by any Fuel Company.

March 15th later in the day was warm and sunny !!!!!!

Now we spotted some Tiger moths in for Gas at SD. When Susie says lets go have a look who am I to argue.

Probably due to her Ma being flown round and round in a Tiger  by her Dad until she agreed to go out with him back in the day.

Sue looking suitably impressed.


Here's a montage of there visit.

They had been on a 15 day trip down as far as Gore and all points in between. One of the Tigers even got up and over Mt Cook to 14000 foot....!!!!

This is also the Fox Moths first big Fly away as just of restoration.

They had travelled from Motueka via Wanganui then to SD heading Ardmore.
