Follow instructions on Terminal.

When getting Fuel multiply your quantity by $2.60 for amount required or you will end up doing the card thing again. Example 60 Litres = $156.00

Please sign book in box.

Also if wanting a receipt do this pretty much after hose returned to holder.

When Fueling be careful of Splash back. It's brand new and pumps pretty quick.

I have seen people not winding the hose up when finished. If you do this consistantly I will be speaking to you as I can see you 24/7 (recorded) you will be paying for any damage incured. This facility is owned by the Stratford Aero Club Sport Flyers and not by any Fuel Company.

Treat it with respect it deserves or lose it.

Remember no Landing Fee's and uncontrolled Airspace.

Thanks for choosing SD (Stratford) as your Fueling stop

Doing some Aero's

Landing 27

Ah refreshment time.

Don was in and was doing some Aero's with Wayne here doing the white board & lil plane thing before heading out.

Both Don & Gary had been down to do some spin training (Wayne had suggested if doing Aero's ya need to do spin training)  at Hawera with Wayne H in the Aerobat. We don't have an aircraft available here at SD for that training. Bit of cross pollination is always good.

I was lucky as when I was learning to fly as you had to do Spin training as part of your licence. Unfortunately today this is not taught as part of your licence. It should be.

Even if you aren't doing Aero's Spin training is a good idea as like everything you will know what to expect if you ever get into a spin situation. It is a mind blower when you first go into spin so get some training it won't be such a surprise.
