FUEL INSTALLATION INFO

YES WE HAVE

!!! AVGAS - AVGAS - AVGAS -AVGAS - AVGAS !!!

Follow instructions on Terminal.

When getting Fuel multiply your quantity by $2.40 for amount required or you will end up doing the card thing again. Example 60 Litres = $145.00

Please sign book in box.

Also if wanting a receipt do this pretty much after hose returned to holder.

When Fueling be careful of Splash back. It's brand new and pumps pretty quick.

PUT THINGS BACK AS YOU FIND THEM.

I have seen people not winding the hose up when finished. If you do this consistantly I will be speaking to you as I can see you 24/7 (recorded) you will be paying for any damage incured. This facility is owned by the Stratford Aero Club Sport Flyers and not by any Fuel Company.

Treat it with respect it deserves or lose it.

!!! DAYLIGHT HOURS ONLY !!!

Remember no Landing Fee's and uncontrolled Airspace.

Thanks for choosing SD (Stratford) as your Fueling stop

Sealing round the pumps has been completed and is ready to use. Until grass grows take care when going from Grass to Seal use the 45 degree approach method.

Sunday the 30th was WET & Sunny & WET.

Ya know when it's been damp when the Ducks turn up to swim around in the Puddle's on the Maneuvering Area & that puddle is 5 inches DEEP.

There is also around and inch of standing water all over the place very soggy.

Just going on from ANZAC day our Honour board in the Club house.

Which we now have a tangible connection for.

When Alan & Ann were in the U.K. a few years back they went to where Anne's Uncle (Fighter Pilot) was buried and his monument from a grateful town.

He is E.M Hight on the Board.

Gary and SNG were in for a bit.

Check out the interesting arrival here.

Ya can tell he's been 4 X 4ing.....

Looks like nice day but Mum Nature was just taking the piss. It rained again soon after this.

SNG & Gary taxing the long way round for 27.

Taxing was up by to the Glider Hangar then down 34 then up to 27.

Gone and drip drying in the Air.

Ya know it's gonna rain again when these about.

We have a new CAA sign excellent. The other one was getting a bit doughy.

Another one pertaining to the EM Team as operating off active Aerodrome use has to be strictly controlled and it is.

Same with Taranaki Gliding Club

Mean while over at the Puddle the Plovers had moved in.

Looks like it's bath day. I did notice they seem to have the Donald Trump hair do go figure.

Some Vid here.

Back over at Hangar 3 Graeme had arrived on his very nice looking Triumph Motorcycle.

Being an Past Aviator (Might change after seeing this lot) we wandered around looking at what we have at SD.

Yes the Mustang was a hit another Fan ( we will have to get TVG it's own PO Box shortly) as the Mustang Grin appears.

Also tried out SSF for size and was used to centre stick as used to fly Airtourers

That's it.
