FUEL INSTALLATION INFO

YES WE HAVE

!!! AVGAS - AVGAS - AVGAS -AVGAS - AVGAS !!!

Follow instructions on Terminal.

When getting Fuel multiply your quantity by $2.50 for amount required or you will end up doing the card thing again. Example 60 Litres = $150.00

Please sign book in box.

Also if wanting a receipt do this pretty much after hose returned to holder.

When Fueling be careful of Splash back. It's brand new and pumps pretty quick.

PUT THINGS BACK AS YOU FIND THEM.

I have seen people not winding the hose up when finished. If you do this consistantly I will be speaking to you as I can see you 24/7 (recorded) you will be paying for any damage incured. This facility is owned by the Stratford Aero Club Sport Flyers and not by any Fuel Company.

Treat it with respect it deserves or lose it.

!!! DAYLIGHT HOURS ONLY !!!

Remember no Landing Fee's and uncontrolled Airspace.

Thanks for choosing SD (Stratford) as your Fueling stop

Now things have become interesting of late with the AERODRAG concept now in the public domain. Along with the Drag Racing Dudes it basically means the next part in the Aerodromes history.

This will see the construction of  a Concrete Runway which will also double as International Rated Dragstrip.  This will see Stratford Aerodrome morph from a big Grass Aerodrome into a much more user friendly and weather proof Multi use Facility well into the future.

The Stratford Aero Club Sports Flyers will over see and in consultation with the Drag Racing Team all aspects of the implementation of whats required to move concept forward. A sub committee has been formed this is the AERODRAG Committee.

A presentation was done to the Stratford District Council and was well received by the Full council and a letter of intent and acceptance was received from the Council for the Feasibility study and has been approved. One can not over look the implications not only for Stratford District but also the wider Taranaki region for tourism, economic benefits the list go's on.

Anyhoo here is the Article that appeared in the Stratford Press look for page 26.
